I am a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with a particular interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I have 8 years experience of working in various settings (primary schools, preschools, clinics and secondary schools).

I am also a Makaton sign language tutor and am licenced to deliver training in Level 1, 2 3, and taster sessions.

I have experience working as part of a multi disciplinary team in diagnostics of ASD. I have experience using strategies such as Picture Exchange System (PECS) and am trained in using the Social Emotional Regulation Transactional Support (SCERTs)assessment.

I like to look at each child as an individual, what are their interests, strengths, difficulties and then incorporate these into their targets. It is important to me that your child finds the sessions fun and motivating, whilst ensuring they make good progress.

I am confident in my abilities and have experience improving the communication skills of many children.

Working in this role is my passion and I have had many rewarding moments in my career to date.

I have also attended training in approaches such as ‘Colourful Semantics’ and ‘Parent Child Interaction (Michael Palin Stammering Centre)’.

I have a license to practice as a Speech and Language Therapist with the Health Care Professionals Council and I am a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. I am also a member of the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Private Practice.

I am able to offer Speech and Language Therapy input in your home or in school/preschool
