I am an experienced and enthusiastic SLT, and provide a friendly, flexible, home-based service. Whatever you are looking for – advice, reassurance, an assessment or regular therapy – please feel welcome to ring me. I am interested to hear your concerns and talk with you about your child’s needs. You can also learn more about my experience and qualifications, the services I offer, and read some testimonials, on my website.

If you choose to book an appointment, you won’t wait long to be seen. The initial assessment is often done on a weekend to give both parents chance to meet me and be involved. You are the expert on your child, and I have expertise in speech, language and communication difficulties so the approach is teamwork! I can offer regular weekly therapy for children who need it and continuity of care, from pre-school through to primary, for children who need long term support. I also have a lot of experience with families who home educate.

Children communicate best with people they know and when they are happy. My aim is to set specific, realistic targets for developing their skills, to make therapy activities fun and motivating, and to work closely with key interaction partners (e.g. parents, nursery staff, teachers) to support the child in becoming a confident and successful communicator. Every child is different and there are many different approaches we can take. If your child has SLT through the NHS I work closely with them too.
