I am a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist based in Oxfordshire. After studying at Oxford University and working in the pharmaceutical industry, my husband experienced a severe brain injury causing communication difficulties. This led me to retrain as an SLT, obtaining an MSc with distinction from UCL in 1997.

I worked for more than 15 years in the NHS and have extensive experience in treating people affected by the impact of Stroke, traumatic brain injury and for progressive neurological conditions I can offer LSVT Loud® as a certified clinician. Prior to moving to independent practice I was Clinical Lead for SLT at the Oxfordshire Stroke Rehabilitation Unit.

I strive to offer a warm, professional and individualised approach for communication or swallowing difficulties. Not only do I work with clients but also their partners, families and friends to help support and maximise an individual’s communication and participation in a more holistic approach.
