Primarily a speech and language therapist, with a specialist teaching training in specific learning difficulties (dyslexia) and specific training in dynamic assessment looking at the thinking skills underlying language development. Also trained in all three levels of Professor Feuerstein’s Instrumental Enrichment Thinking skills programme. Covering verbal dyspraxia with good success and helping parents and children on the autistic continuum. Specialist work in speech and language delay / disorder, having worked in primary and secondary language units and resources. Now trained (Sept 2008) in Tactile Instrumental Enrichment for the visually impaired.
