Kate studied at University College London, graduating in 1999 with a BSc (Hons) in Speech Sciences. She has since worked in a variety of settings in the NHS, always with adults. For 12 years Kate held a senior specialist post, working in a large inner London borough, providing communication and swallowing help to people in their own homes, clinics, workplaces, colleges and care homes, before leaving the NHS to persue independent work. She now shares her time between bank work for the NHS, private care homes and individual clients. She is a LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) certified clinician.
