I have previous experience working in the NHS as a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist. I have worked in a variety of settings including homes, clinic, nurseries, mainstream primary and secondary schools and specialist provisions. I am trained in the use of the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) programme and am a trained smiLE Therapist. I have a particular interest in language difficulties associated with complex needs and functional communication. My specialist interests include Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Global Developmental Delay. Assessment and therapy packages will be tailored to meet your child’s individual needs and sessions can take place in nursery, school or at home. I enjoy working in collaboration with parents/carers, Education and other Health Professionals to ensure the child’s holistic needs are met.
I am also an infant massage instructor and am registered with the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM).
