Hi I’m Caren. I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2002 and worked in the NHS for 15 years before moving into independent practice. I am trained in and use a range of specialist approaches for working with children who have speech pronunciation difficulties, difficulties understanding spoken language, difficulties constructing sentences, and preschool children with Autism. I also have extensive experience working with children who stammer. I am trained in Lidcombe Therapy and Parent Children Interaction Therapy. I have completed an extensive range of specialist courses at The Michael Palin Centre for Children Who Stammer. I offer 1:1 therapy at my clinic or in nursery. I offer training to parents and nursery staff. I believe every child is different and so I work in partnership with parents, carers and teachers to identify the best approach to use with each child. This ensures the best possible outcome for everyone.
