I have several years’ experience working as an Independent and NHS therapist. I work with adults with acquired speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders as a result of acquired brain injury (stroke, head injury and progressive neurological disease). I also work as a Clinical Tutor at the University of Reading, training the next generation of speech and language therapists.
I am a registered LSVT therapist and am trained to offer Expiratory Muscle Strength Training and the McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program. I can offer assessment and therapy in Basingstoke and the surrounding areas for the following aspects of communication: expressive/receptive language difficulties, dysarthria, apraxia of speech and dysphagia.
I am also a Registered Intermediary, working with vulnerable witnesses in police interview and court. I am registered with Intermediaries for Justice to provide support to vulnerable defendants within the criminal justice system.
