Hello I am Abi, I am a highly specialist speech and language therapist, who runs a small SLT therapy practice based in Totnes, Devon.

I have over 13 years experience working with individuals who have complex communication needs. I specialise in the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) to support the development of an individuals speech, language and communication skills.

I have worked with both children and adults with diagnosed learning disability and/or whom use AAC as their main mode of communication. I more recently have trained in gestalt language processing and I am developing my knowledge

and skills in the use of natural language acquisition therapy, alongside other neurodiversity affirming practices.

I have experience of working in a diverse range of settings including public and private sectors in education and health, social & social care.

I can offer training, supervision, support to enhance and embed positive communication strategies.
