I am a speech and language therapist with experience of working in the voluntary sector and NHS across a range of settings. I am skilled in the engagement, assessment and management of children and young people with profound and multiple disabilities, relating to sensory impairment and associated conditions. This includes deafblindness, cerebral palsy, autism and rare diseases. I am passionate about developing evidence-based practices focusing on parent-child interaction, early intervention, tactile communication and communication partner competency. I am an experienced project manager and conference speaker at national and international conferences, presenting research projects within my area of knowledge and expertise.
