I'm a specialist Speech Therapist working privately and in the NHS. I'm running a small private practice called Connected SLT, please visit www.connectedslt.com for more information.
I have undergraduate degree in Health Psychology from the UK and MSs in Speech and Language from University of Limerick in Ireland and moved to London straight after. I have worked in various settings across London, Herfordshire and Kent including hospitals, out-patient clinics, nursing homes and in client's own homes. My experience has mainly been with adults with communication, swallowing and voice disorders on the background of neurological conditions. I have experience and I'm passionate about post stroke rehabilitation and management of language disorders associated with early onset dementia and degenerative conditions such as Parkinson's Disease. I have strong clinical interest in managing voice disorders secondary to muscle tension, nodules, polyps, post surgery. I also work with clients with voice problems due to neurological conditions or psychogenic vice disorders. I provide traditional voice therapy, Laryngeal Manual Therapy and LSVT.
