I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2008 and specialise in working with Early Years, Primary and Secondary school-aged children with a range of communication needs including speech delay/disorder, difficulties understanding and/or using language, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Difficulties, Cerebral Palsy and social communication difficulties. I work closely with families alongside educational setting staff and other professions to ensure there is a collaborative approach towards helping each child meet their full communicative potential. As well as offering individually tailored assessment, therapy, reports and advice, I am also able to provide specific training to parents/guardians/educational setting staff to help them gain greater understanding of communication skills, barriers and strategies and therefore better support the needs of the individual child.
