Dr Sylvia Taylor-Goh is a highly experienced speech and language therapist who specialises in providing therapeutic intervention and expert witness opinions for young people and adults with communication and swallowing difficulties after an acquired brain injury. She is a sensory integration advanced practitioner and has a particular interest in the impact of vestibular and interoceptive difficulties upon communication. In her Research Director role, she works closely with their partner university, Sheffield Hallam University. Her own research focus is the development of clinical reasoning and decision-making skills in pre and post registration clinicians and development of an acquired brain injury sensory processing assessment tool.
